"We also often add to our pain and suffering by being overly sensitive, over-reacting to minor things, and sometimes taking things too personally."

yeah, blog it to death!
In my blog hopping adventures, I can't help but notice that local blogs seem to be more about pictures than words. People would put up a ton of pictures in one blog post followed by about 10 words. Not sure if language is the restricting factor here. The best part is other locals would flock there (the nosy parkers) every day and leave a ton of comments.
But that's not nearly as disgusting as people who blog a topic to death. Well, basically these are the folks from probably the smaller towns where there's nothing much happening in their lives, who aren't married, have no kids to talk about and are too stingy to spend any of their hard-earned money on anything.
They don't eat out, they don't go on vacation, they complain daily about every single cent they spend, so what is there to life? And when something does happen, like the death of their dog or someone in their family, they'll capitalize on that and blog the topic to death! For months, they'd be blogging about that same topic!! They even recycle old posts of their dog who has died, returned to life and died again. Because that's all they have to crap about, the poor things!

you could be eligible for a settlement
Okay, just got this piece of news from a friend. Do you live in the US and did you apply for credit from TransUnion, a credit reporting company, between 1987 and 2000?
Well, apparently they illegally sold confidential credit information to target marketing companies in the United States in that period of time which, as we all know, is a violation of privacy with severe consequences.
If you did apply for credit from them, it's likely you are eligible for a Transunion Settlement. If I were you, I'd check out if I can get a free consultation on how to go about this.

more shopping
We thought we'd be too tired to shop again on Sunday. But no! We still have lots to buy in anticipation of someone going on a long trip. So it looks like the shopping is set to continue every weekend until then!

superbusy Saturday
Like it or not, our Saturdays are super-busy. In a good way. We went out shopping at the new mall we discovered and came home with 7 big bags of spoils. Not bad, eh? For a morning of shopping and trying on clothes. We're definitely going back there again LOL.

gift prompts
At a wedding we attended recently, we were told the bride received a number of gold coins as a gift. And why not? Whenever we have weddings to go to, I'm always fretting about what would be the perfect gift or the practical gift. In the old days, I believe people just never had to think very much about what kind of gift to give, they simply always just gave gold or some article of gold.
Now that we are so spoilt for choice, it's even more stressful for the gift-giver. I'm definitely all for the couple coming up with a wish list so guests would have an idea what a useful gift would be. Sometimes the guests aren't very close to the couple or don't know them very well and it really helps to know. What say you?
mall in the boonies
Indeed it's Friday! Yay! Am planning to drive out to a mall in the boonies that we accidentally discovered when we went there for a wedding dinner. Yes, the place is so NOT our type of scene. The folks there are like weird but there seems to be lots to see and buy at the mall. So we're taking a chance and going out there to see what we can find ;)

yes, that would be you!
The more I drive around, the more pissed I get at the drivers out there. And yes, that would be you and you and you! Those who take multiple lanes to turn and it's not that they're driving anything remotely close to the size of a bus!! Those who never signal ahead and make you wait while they freakin' well know they're going to turn!! Those who speed up and won't let you pass just as you signal that you're changing lanes.
And just because I'm sporting a P sticker doesn't mean I'm a noob, okay? I can run you over with my tank any day so don't you think you can tailgate me and try to scare me into letting you pass!! Oh no, buster, you're welcome to kiss my a** if you're in such a hurry, bwahaha!
a gold coin a day
We're all poorer now than ever because the prices of everything just went up - again! Sad but true for those of us who never thought to stash some money away for a rainy day. And it is raining outside now, literally.
If we'd had the foresight, we would so have invested in gold coins when we had some extra cash. Maybe that's why it pays to be a little far-sighted and not live from hand to mouth, like the old folks used to say. Gold is stable and it's a great form of investment. So do you think it's too late to put away a few cents a day until we have enough to buy one gold coin, then another, then another?

new template?
Yep, I'm once again toying with the idea of using a new template for this blog. Should I? I seem to want to do that every time I come across a new and prettier template. That's why, for a while, I actually stopped surfing for new templates. But I get distracted so easily and seem to prefer new over old. Is anyone else like that?

achieved your resolution?
Oh, is July here already? Man, can't believe we're already at the halfway mark to 2010. How time flies and it seems like only yesterday when we were welcoming the new year's!
Have you achieved your New Year's resolution? Or did you even make one? I'm so glad I've no expectations to live up to because I didn't make any resolutions. Haha!
