something new, something old

Ya know what? I finally decided to change this template to something more reflective of my style. After all, leafy twines all dressed in green isn't exactly my scene, ya know what I mean?

But having found a template that I find tasteful, it didn't work, unfortunately. And my only excuse is that I didn't have time this morning to figure out what the bunch of errors meant. Maybe some other time.

avoiding crowded places

The weather is still hot and hazy as ever and I haven't really felt like going out much. Not with that dreadful flu still gaining speed. We had a bit of a thunderstorm last night which lasted for all of 5 minutes. It stopped after I dragged myself out of bed at 4am to close all the windows!! Duh!

We didn't go out at all today because I've basically done all my weekly shopping. I do my groceries on Thursdays or Fridays now to avoid the possibly germy weekend crowds. It's terrible jumping up every time I hear a cough or a sneeze at the grocery store.

You'll be amazed at how many people with flus (who knows which kind they have!) are still walking around and letting their sick kids go to school as well. They're either truly ignorant (which I doubt) or just people with bad attitudes!
