minding your friends

So here we are again with the friendship police! No matter how busy they are, they just can't let you off the hook. They have to keep tabs on how you're treating your friends. Yes, your friends! These are not even their friends!

They think they're the only ones who treat their friends decent. Yet the way I see it, their friends treat them like crap! Use them, then dump them. Recommend them lemons. Feed off their generosity. Hello? Do you even notice what your friends do to you while you're being the absolute angel to them?

So these people shouldn't be even by trying police how you treat your friends. They may be the best friend in the world but they sure are attracting all the wrong types. That's why they have so many "friends" and you have so few. 'Cos they've got the leeches, get it?

Seriously does anyone like to be accused of something they haven't done? I, for one, seriously hate that especially when it comes from people who've known you your entire life. Question is, do they really know you? Or have I been wrong about them all along?

They call me on my cell phone. I can't hear them because the reception is bad where I'm at, they know that. I run around looking for a spot where hopefully the reception will be better and I can hear them and they can hear me without me having to shout.

And I get accused of shouting at them. Huh?? And seeing as how we're going back and forth going, what? doesn't it makes sense to stick to only the important facts and not try to tell me a grandmother's story? It's obvious I can't hear them and they can't hear me. Gawd! Some people!! Seriously, please grow up. Even if you're 80 years old, you still have some serious growing up to do!

look who's the party animal now!!

Yep, you're looking at her now. That's me, hahaha, no wonder it was raining heavily today, even the heavens are laughing and I'm so tickled. Without going into the nitty-gritty, just suffice to say today was crazy!

Me and the girls had so much fun we still can't stop talking and giggling! And I think we very well might be giggling all the way through Halloween! Okay, me and my big mouth, I'm supposed to keep quiet about this, the girls made me promise!

So here we are. The rainy season is upon us again and I kinda like that. Cool breezes, cool nights and mornings that make you want to stay in bed... until reality jolts you up, that is. But still cool weather sure beats hot, blazing days when it gets me all lazy and lethargic. Cheers to cool weather and hope it hangs around a little bit more.

Looks like we got a whole lot of party animals who don't want to do anything else but pa-arty! Isn't life grand? No responsibilities. No kindred spirit. No compromise. Just leave us to party in peace please! We just want to have a good time so the rest of you can go * yourselves for all we care.

I like this attitude. I think it says so much for people. I think we need more people like this to make the world a better place.

no giving way

My favorite thing to do at banks is tuning in to the activities going on nearby. I mean what else is there to do? Stare at the walls? At least that's one source of mundane entertainment while the bank officers move at snail's pace.

Yesterday there was this lady who just would not stop hounding the information desk staff about how to invest in gold coins. He handed her a stack of brochures but no, she just kept on pelting him with questions while the line behind her grew longer and more impatient. Luckily I wasn't in her line!

The officer was starting to show his impatience when her cell phone rang! You could almost hear a universal sigh of relief when she reluctantly stepped aside to pick it up! Finally the line was moving again... at least for the length of her call!

I brake for breaks

I look in my crystal ball and I see a nice, long break comin' up. Yay! I live for breaks, it's the only time I get a brake in my routine. I have no plans, just playing it by ear as usual. I'll probably go buy some steaks and whip up a nice homemade meal just like the one we just had today. Boy, are we stuffed! Whatever you're doin', have a great one then!
